The Leelanau County Board of Commissioners has entered into a “mutual separation agreement” with County Administrator Jim Dyer. The news was announced with a press release sent to local media late Wednesday afternoon, though no specific details about the agreement were disclosed. The official announcement follows The Ticker’s reporting this morning, which broke the news from Dyer’s side that he would not be returning to the county government center.
