Petroskey Inducted Into Suttons Bay Hall of Fame
Suttons Bay Public Schools announced the induction of Angela (Petroskey) Lattimer into the Suttons Bay Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2025/26.
A standout three-sport athlete in the mid-1980s and a respected coach and mentor, Petroskey’s legacy has left a lasting impact on Norsemen athletics. During her high school career, Petroskey excelled in volleyball, basketball, and track & field, achieving All-State recognition in 1987 in all three sports. She was honored as All-State in volleyball, basketball, shot put, and discus, an achievement that cemented her reputation as one of the most versatile and dominant athletes in Suttons Bay history.
Following her playing career, Petroskey continued to influende Norsemen athletics as a coach and leader. Most notably, she guided the Suttons Bay Girls Volleyball Team to the 2001 MHSAA State Finals, a milestone that remains one of the program’s greatest accomplishments. Her dedication to player development, teamwork, and excellence has inspired generations of student-athletes.
Petroskey will be formally inducted into the Suttons Bay Athletics Hall of Fame at half time of the varsity football game on Friday, September 26th when Suttons Bay takes on Baldwin. The community is invited to join in celebrating her remarkable contributions and enduring legacy.
