Cherry Public House To Reopen Monday Jan. 4; Adds Delivery

By Emily Tyra | Jan. 4, 2021

To prepare for what was expected to be an extra busy holiday season, Cherry Public House in Glen Arbor temporarily closed in early November so the entire brewery/eatery staff could support the gift packing and shipping needs at Cherry Republic’s new distribution center on M-72 in Traverse City.

Andrew Moore, marketing director at Cherry Republic, reports that as anticipated, online and phone sales were strong and acknowledges the pub staff’s help in a successful season. A quick snapshot: Cherry Republic had 17,567 Christmas orders in the queue to ship on Monday morning, December 15, 2020.

Now with staff returning to the Public House Monday, Jan. 4, it will be open daily for curbside takeout and — a first for the restaurant — delivery service. Moore adds that there will be an updated menu coming soon.
