Forbes Puts A Spotlight On The Leelanau County Wine Scene

Check out Leelanau County’s latest place of honor in a national publication. This time, it’s Forbes magazine laying some praise on the Leelanau Peninsula wine scene.
The article, penned by Forbes contributor Tom Hyland and titled “Leelanau Peninsula—Dynamic Wines From Michigan,” highlights the “many impressive examples” of Michigan wine being produced at Leelanau vineyards. Specifically mentioned in the piece are Good Harbor Vineyards, Verterra Winery, Shady Lane Cellars, Rove Winery, Bel Lago, Blustone, Black Star Farms, and Boathouse Vineyards.
While the article is about wine, a couple of Leelanau residents get fawning namedrops as well: Wren in Suttons Bay and The Riverside Inn in Leland.
