Grass River Benefit Gathering at Cherry Public House Friday

By Emily Tyra | July 23, 2020

Grass River Natural Area (GRNA) staff and volunteers invite the public Friday, July 24, 4pm to 7pm for cherry-inspired food, drinks, live music, and conversation at Cherry Public House in Glen Arbor. A percentage of total sales from the evening will go to GRNA to help continue to fulfill their mission while organized programming is limited.

Grass River Natural Area is a 1,492 acre nature preserve surrounding the Grass River, located in the heart of Antrim County. Along with seven miles of trails — including 1.5 miles of boardwalk floating above northern fen and cedar wetlands — the Grass River Center is known for its educational programming, school field trips, and camps.

Betsy Willis, development coordinator at GRNA says, “Plenty of outdoor seating is available and Cherry Republic has a new outdoor bar. Stop by anytime during the 3-hour window. There will be activities for kids, so bring the whole family.”

Physical distancing will be in place. More information available at www.grassriver.org
