Lake Leelanau Street Fair Harvest Festival Scheduled For This Weekend
By Craig Manning | Oct. 11, 2024
Tomorrow (Saturday, October 12) marks the 2024 Lake Leelanau Street Fair Harvest Festival. The event, which helps fund beautification projects throughout Lake Leelanau, is scheduled to run from 11am to 6pm and will feature live music, kids activities, food vendors, booths manned by local artists, artistans, and businesses, and more. This year is the 10th annual version of the popular festival.
On the music front, this year’s Harvest Festival will feature three bands: Deep Blue Water Samba School (noon-1:30pm), New Third Coast (2-3:30pm), and Broom Closet Boys (4-6pm). Kids events will include face painting, juggling acts, a caricature artist, and a petting zoo. And as for food, attendees will be able to choose from hot dogs, brats, and more from Pleva’s Meats, authentic Mexican food from the Taquiera Mosqueda food truck, popcorn from Meredith Family Kettle Corn, and coffee or treats from Hive Coffee Company.
This year’s street fair also features a long list of participating artists and artisans, which can be found on the Harvest Festival’s website.
