Leelanau Organizations Score Grants In Latest Grand Traverse Band Gaming Revenue Distribution
By Craig Manning | Feb. 2, 2026
Tens of thousands of dollars will make their way to Leelanau County thanks to the latest grant cycle from the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians (GTB) and its twice-annual 2 percent allocation program. Since 1994, thanks to a consent decree settling Tribes v. Engler, GTB has distributed 2 percent of its video gaming revenue to local units of government. The latest allocation totals $911,218.10 and includes recipients from all over northern Michigan.
Leelanau grants are outlined below, with details on each allocation adapted from GTB’s press release announcing the latest distributions. Click here for a rundown of the Grand Traverse County grants.
