
Leelanau Township Community Foundation Announces Grant Recipients

The Leelanau Township Community Foundation (LTCF) has announced its latest slate of grant recipients. The five award winners are detailed below.
>$9,016 to the Northport Performing Arts Center (formerly known as the Northport Community Arts Center, “to cover funding for their 2025 performance season.”
>$600 to Leelanau Montessori Public School Academy, “to provide swimming lessons for 10 Leelanau Township 6–9-year-olds.”
>$2,200 to the Watershed Center Grand Traverse Bay, “to install educational signs in the Village of Northport at the two recent project sights where rain gardens were installed to treat stormwater runoff.”
>$6,000 to Leelanau Township, “to hire a researcher and grant writer to assist Leelanau Township to find and apply for funding opportunities to repair and restore Woolsey Airport.”
>$3,000 to Friends of Sleeping Bear Dunes, “to support purchasing a CFX Opus 96 Real Time PCR System and essential water quality monitoring supplies.”
