 
                        
                    Leelanau Township Community Foundation Awards $58,177 in Grants

Leelanau Township Community Foundation (LTCF) Board of Trustees approved grants to three organizations in Leelanau County:
· Friendship Community Center (LIFT), recipient of a $10,000 grant from the General Endowment Fund to support their full-time afterschool and summer program for 6th-12th graders at Northport Public School during the 2025-2026 school year.
· Mid-Michigan Honor Flight Inc (MMHF), recipient of a $2,500 grant from the General Endowment Fund to support the flight costs of veterans to Washington DC to visit 6 war memorials and Arlington National Cemetery.
· Leelanau Township, recipient of a $11,377 grant from the Woolsey Memorial Airport Endowment Fund and a $34,300 grant from the Saving Woolsey Airport Terminal Fund to support and complete Phase 1 repairs and maintenance for the terminal building at Woolsey Airport.
Upcoming grant application due dates for 2026 are Jan 1, March 1, May 1, July 1, September 1 and November 1.
