M22 Teams Up With River Club Glen Arbor For New M22 Challenge Post Party

By Craig Manning | March 28, 2025

River Club Glen Arbor will be the presenting sponsor for this year’s M22 Challenge – and will host a post-event party on its premises as part of the June 14 triathlon.

Now in its 17th year, the M22 Challenge has become one of Leelanau County’s most popular events, regularly selling out its 900 registrations within a matter of minutes. This year’s competition is no different: sign-ups kicked off on March 1, and the event was full that same day.

2025 will mark the first year of M22 Challenge sponsorship for River Club Glen Arbor, which opened last summer. The mini golf course announced on Thursday that, as part of its sponsorship, it will be hosting “the first every M22 Challenge Presented by River Club Glen Arbor post party.”

The M22 Challenge starts a 8am on June 14, and the party at River Club Glen Arbor will follow starting at noon. All M22 Challenge participants will receive a free entrée and a $1 craft beer or a free non-alcoholic beverage. However, the party will be open to all, whether they participated in the triathlon or not.

“Those cheering from the sidelines are also welcome to celebrate with great food, drinks and live music all day,” River Club Glen Arbor shared in a Facebook post announcing the new partnership.

Also this week, River Club Glen Arbor announced a “Cinco de Mayo Fiesta,” which will run the whole first weekend of May (Friday, May 2 through Sunday, May 4) and will feature discounts on food as  well as six new frozen margaritas and new food items, including “Mucho Macho Nachos,” margarita cheesecake, and waffle churros.
