Northport 2020 Photo Exhibit Is Live
By Emily Tyra | Sept. 4, 2020
The Northport Arts Association is taking their 3rd annual photo exhibit online. The 2020 show is live starting today, September 4, through September 20, representing photographers from Michigan and beyond.
Linda Bayer of the Northport Arts Association says there is a big focus on Leelanau in the curated works—think: lake surf, barns, blooms, piping plover, ice sculpture and other icons of the county.
Genres represent landscapes, waterscapes, wildlife and architecture as well as personal styles using photo apps and specialty film processing.
The exhibit showcases photographers Paul Anderson, Robert Bayer, Scott Cain, Robert DeJonge, Mimi DiFransesca, Rob Greco, Denise Johnson, Karen Jonas, Ann McPhail, Marc Nugent, Jay Petersen, Esther Send, Donald Spezia, Honour Stewart, Tim Wade, and Sheen Watkins.
The show can be viewed at 24/7 at northportartsassociation.org. The exhibit helps support artists as well as the nonprofit organization; the photographs can be purchased in several sizes and on substrates such as paper, metal, canvas, and acrylic.
