7:22AM 04/06/21 Traffic Violation, S. West Bay Shore Drive, GMC Grey Canyon Truck Swerving, varying speed southbound.
9:34PM 04/06/21 Civil Issue, S. Schomberg Road, reporting party adopted a dog from a rescue in November. The owner showed up tonight and took the dog back. Caller has questions about the legality of the owner taking the dog back.
3:07PM 04/07/21 Motorist Assist, Miller Hill and Dunns Farm Roads, Checking on a vehicle, found a man sleeping in the vehicle, advised not to drive/park where he was.
9:40PM 04/07/21 Welfare Check, E. Duck Lake Road, Reporting party advised she has been unable to get ahold of her friend who has COVID. She has been admitted to Munson Medical Center.
8:12AM 04/08/21 Citizen Assist, W. Michigan Street, Reporting party believes neighbor took her cat.
9:24AM 04/08/21 Animal Control, W. Good Harbor Drive, Dog at large on beach.
1:53PM 04/08/21 Motor Vehicle Crash, S. West Bay Shore Drive, Blue Honda Element ran into building at Northern Lumber.
4:05PM 04/08/21 Traffic Violation, S. West Bay Shore Drive, Reporting party says a woman entered and appeared intoxicated. Did not serve her and she departed in a blue Ford Escape, northbound.
8:16AM 04/09/21 Information, S. Coleman Road, Someone took his colonial flag post down.
2:56PM 04/09/21 Suspicious Vehicle, W. Harbor Highway, Pickup behind schoolhouse. Project for interior construction at this site sanctioned by park service.
10:33PM 04/09/21 Animal Control Call, O-De-To-Min Mi-Ku, Grand Traverse Band called out at this address in reference to a bear and two cubs. Will notify neighbors.
8:46AM 04/10/21, Citizen Assist, S. Lee Point Road, Caller thinks neighbor has tied platforms to her boat mooring; would like to know her rights.
11:07AM 04/10/21, Pregnancy, E. Cherry Bend Road, Caller Statement: CHILDBIRTH. Unit Response: Priority 1
7:09PM 04/10/21, Suspicious Incident, S. French Road, Reporting party states roommate padlocked reporting party inside the apartment. All set on status clearing. Nothing malicious; believed to be a miscommunication.
2:57PM 04/11/21, Trespassing, S. Sugar Loaf Mountain Road, Three vehicles in the parking lot. There are families walking around the property and going inside of the buildings.
3:14PM 04/11/21 Traffic Violation, S. Kasson Street, Vehicle almost hit her family about 15-20 minutes ago while they were walking on the side of Sugar Loaf Mountain Road. Vehicle is now at Bunting’s in Cedar. Grey Jeep truck.
9:57AM 04/12/21 Motor Vehicle Crash, S. Schomberg Road, Man drove in ditch, is okay but trapped due to a tree over the road, Honda Civic. On arrival of fire units, driver had self-extracted and is being helped from the ditch. Confirmed driver is uninjured. He has contacted Van’s Garage for a tow. Van’s on scene.
1:35PM 04/12/21 Leaving Scene Of Motor Vehicle Crash, N. West Bay Shore Drive, Vehicle hit him, dark small sportscar
4:54PM 04/12/21 Harassment, N. St. Josephs Street, Customer keeps coming into the restaurant with no mask and is harassing staff and customers.
7:49PM 04/12/21 Information, N. Front Street, Reporting party was walking down by the old coal docks when she noticed the cottontails that her great-grandfather had planted many years ago chopped down. He planted the cottontails there to prevent people from drowning.
