The Leelanau Ticker is back with a look at the most alarming, offbeat, or otherwise newsworthy calls to the Leelanau Office of Emergency Management/911 dispatch. The following is excerpted from the November 18 to November 23 call reports.

7:31pm 11/18/2025 Suspicious Incident Greilickville, Caller has a notification on her phone that an airtag is in her vicinity. Afraid she is being tracked. 

7:49pm 11/18/2025 Fire Misc Kasson Twp., Property of above address is having large fires at night, caller does not believe they are attended. 

8:02pm 11/18/2025 Operating While Intoxicated S West-Bay Shore Dr., There is a man knocking on caller’s door after driving on her lawn. Truck on lawn, subject sitting on the porch. He is very intoxicated but being cooperative. 

5:57pm 11/19/2025 Suspicious Incident Leelanau Cty., Caller reporting last night and tonight there has been someone on their property with a flashlight. Has occurred on numerous occasions. Going to be a motion light for a trail on their property. 

7:28pm 11/19/2025 Disorderly N Manitou Trl., Caller has asked a customer to leave and he is refusing to. Customer called right after the initial call and is reporting that he is being harassed by the people that work there. 

3:40pm 11/20/2025 Suspicious Person Kasson Twp., Caller saw a man with dark hoodie walking on M72, possibly a plastic bag in one hand and something dark in his other hand. ​

3:18pm 11/21/2025 Threats Maple City, Caller ran into a man who holds a grudge against him, this man told the caller that he “needed him to get out of there or he would hurt him”. 

5:39am 11/22/2025 Suspicious Incident Omena, Caller is looking at her cameras on her property and there are lights on and no one should be there.

11:04am 11/22/2025 Suspicious Person Suttons Bay Twp., Noticed a car pulled over in front of mailbox and appeared to be going through the mail. Caller turned around and started driving toward the subject who quickly put the mail back, got in her car, and left. 

3:16pm 11/22/2025 Citizen Assist Leelanau Cty., Caller states the neighbor tried stealing her packages. 

3:03pm 11/23/2025 Suspicious Incident Leelanau Cty., Caller noticed that there are lots of milk bottles in the shed, worried that someone could be doing something with drugs.

9:27pm 11/23/2025 Suspicious Incident Lake Leelanau, Caller is reporting he was shot at in his blind.
