The Riverside Inn, Art’s Tavern, Blu Are Back For Curbside
By Emily Tyra | April 30, 2020
The Riverside Inn in Leland will offer curbside service starting tonight (Thursday, April 30). Newly named executive chef Christine Boerma offers a regional, farm-to-table menu for curbside carryout Thursday through Saturday from 5pm to 7:30pm until further notice. New weekly menus (featuring two dinners and a bottle of wine for $55) will be posted each Tuesday online. Call 231-256-9971.
After a short closure this month, beginning tomorrow, May 1, Art’s Tavern in Glen Arbor will be open every day from 11am to 9pm for curbside service, plus beer and wine to go. The new take-out only menu includes familiar friends such as the "Surf & Turf" (smelt and a blue burger) and Wednesday’s Chicken Jalapeno Soup. Call 231-334-3754.
Blu in Glen Arbor also transforms (for now) to a curbside restaurant starting May 1, serving this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 4:30pm to 7:30pm. The menus (including family-style meals with 24-hour notice and a wine list) will be published every Wednesday on Blu's social media and website. Phone or email orders (231-334-2530, glenarborblu@gmail.com) anytime in advance.
