LC's "Fall for Leelanau" Upcoming

Sept. 8, 2025

The Leelanau Conservancy announced the lineup for its annual "Fall for Leelanau," a weeklong celebration of the beautiful period of transition and change that is fall.

This year they'll be celebrating a little earlier, kicking off on the autumn equinox on Monday, September 22, and concluding on Sunday, September 28.

"This will allow us to share in the excitement of the seasonal shift with you all, while also providing ideas for hikes, color tours and activities you can enjoy as the leaves continue to change," the conservancy said.

Fall for Leelanau events will include a guided docent hike, an Old Growth Forest Network dedication, a chance to help transplant ferns with our team, and our annual Harvest event at DeYoung Natural Area. For the full schedule and more information, click here.
