Melissa Petoskey, Turner Booth & More Leelanau County Influencers Named To TCBN’s 40Under40 List
Sept. 1, 2021
Every September, the Traverse City Business News spotlights 40 local professionals under age 40 who excel professionally and in the community. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the annual 40Under40 list of influencers, and the sixth year Hagerty has been the signature sponsor. The winners will be celebrated at a reception tomorrow in downtown Traverse City.
The 2021 class is comprised of 24 women and 16 men, with record five who are in their 20s, and more than half who are new to the list.
Leelanau County influencers (and those with strong leadership ties to the county) whose efforts during this past year had impact on their community, the region and the economy include: Melissa Ann Petoskey, Taylor Moore, Turner Booth, Chris Loud, Nick Loud, and Leah Moskovitz.
A panel of judges reviewed the submissions and chose the 40 influencers out of 100-plus nominations from the community. The panel included K.K. Trucco, vice president of recruiting for Hagerty; Damian Lockhart, first vice president/financial advisor, Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Traverse City; Benjamin Marentette, Traverse City clerk and past 40Under40 recipient; Warren Call, president/CEO of Traverse Connect and past 40Under40 recipient; Luke Haase, publisher of the TCBN, Northern Express and The Tickers (Traverse City and Leelanau); Lynda Wheatley, executive editor of Northern Express; and Gayle Neu, contributing editor of the TCBN.
