Suttons Bay Plans Friends & Family Event For Locals

Nov. 4, 2020

Suttons Bay is celebrating loyal locals with a Friends & Family Sale Event during store hours on Saturday, November 21.

The downtown businesses planned the event to show their appreciation for patience and support shared with them during these unprecedented times. Now they’d like to celebrate. Stroll “Christmas Tree Lane” to see the store trees all decked out by a variety of school groups. Village shops will be offering storewide sales and specials.

This event also is a chance to support the community with donations for Leelanau Christian Neighbors (LCN). During the Friends & Family Event designated boxes will be available at participating stores. LCN is in urgent need of personal care products, women hygiene products, honey, maple syrup and spices.

Letters to Santa kits will also be handed out for kids, as they won’t be able to sit on Santa’s lap this year. Letters will have prompts so they can specify what they hope for but also what they’re grateful for, and any questions they may have for Santa. Kids can drop them in a mailbox stationed outside Bahle’s during the holiday season and then await a personal response from Santa’s workshop.
