Fire Destroys One Home, Damages Two More Near Glen Lake
Dec. 21, 2025
One home was destroyed and two others were seriously damaged in an early morning fire near Glen Lake.
The fire, which involved three homes on the 6700 block of Dunns Farm Road, was reported about 5:30 a.m. today (Sunday) when a homeowner across the lake called to report the large fire, Glen Lake Fire Department Lt. Nate Perdue tells The Ticker.
The blaze started in the center of three homes and was “extremely wind driven,” Perdue says. The home in the center is a total loss, while it is too soon to say if the others can be salvaged.
None of the homes were occupied, Perdue says, and there were no injuries. It is too soon to say what may have caused the fire, though crews will investigate.
