Suspicious Person Investigation Leads to Drug Arrest

Aug. 4, 2026

On August 1 at shortly before 1 a.m., troopers from the Michigan State Police Traverse City Post responded to a gas station on West Bayshore Drive for a report of a suspicious person.

During the preliminary investigation, troopers contacted a man and a woman inside a vehicle parked in the lot. While speaking with them, troopers observed drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.
