Suttons Bay Celebrates Winter with Annual Yeti Fest

The Suttons Bay Chamber of Commerce presents the 2026 Yeti Fest., dubbed “The Best Yeti Fest This Side of the Himalayas." The event takes place on Saturday, February 14 from 10:30am to 5:30pm and features a Strolling Chili Cook-off, free movie at The Bay Theatre, a digital scavenger hunt with over 150 clues, and other fun for the whole family. 

Yeti Central is the headquarters and will be located at the VI Grill outdoor patio. It’s there that you can purchase commemorative Yeti merchandise, day-of tickets and see ALL the Yeti has to offer.  A variety of activities will take place throughout the Village all within walking distance. Plus, don’t miss out on a chance to get your photo with the Yeti!

Events include Family Fun with Yeti at the Suttons Bay Library, face painting at The Friendship Community Center, 4x4 hockey tournaments at the ice rink and an interactive scavenger hunt that will engage participants and their teams to complete missions with prizes awarded. The chili cook-off takes place from 2pm to 4:30pm throughout the Village and includes a variety of chilli prepared by area restaurants.  The day will wind down at Yeti Central at 5pm with prizes awarded for the scavenger hunt, chili cook-off and hockey tournament.
