By Craig Manning | June 19, 2026
The Bay Theatre in Suttons Bay has announced its “Live at the Bay” concert and event series for the fall 2026 season. The new season will kick off on Friday, September 18 and consists of six events, the last of which is slated for Friday, November 13.
Here’s a rundown of the fall 2026 events. All shows start at 7pm, with doors at 6pm.
Friday, September 18: Jon Langford and Sally Timms
Two members of The Mekons, described in a Bay press release as “one of the longest-running and most prolific of the first-wave British punk rock bands,” Langford and Timms play a mix of punk, country, folk, and alt-rock, both in the band and in their respective solo careers. Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door.
Saturday, October 10: May Erlewine and Ani Mari
Erlewine, a beloved local singer-songwriter, as back by popular demand after a sold-out concert in last fall’s Live at the Bay lineup. She’ll be joined by alt-Americana singer-songwriter Ani Mari, who has shared the stage with the likes of James McMurtry, Amelia Day, The Accidentals, and Lindsay Lou. Tickets are $50 in advance and $55 at the door.
Saturday, October 17: William Elliott Whitmore
This Iowa native is described as “a roots-folk singer with a gravelly voice, haunting melodies, and deep love of the land.” Whitmore performs with a one-man band model, toting either a guitar or a banjo and keeping the beat with a kick drum. Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door.
Saturday, October 24: The Murder Mystery Co.
This Grand Rapids-based immersive theater company garnered national attention after appearing on ABC’s Shark Tank and securing a $350,000 investment deal with guest shark Jason Blum (of the indie film company Blumhouse Productions). The group comes to Leelanau County with “Midnight at the Masquerade”, a “masquerade-themed murder mystery” where the audience will have to work to unmask the killer. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door.
Saturday, November 7: Jack M. Senff & The Heartland Mission with Slow Spell
Another local singer-songwriter, Senff will stop by The Bay with his band, The Heartland Mission, to support his new album. The record, called Grace & Sorrow, is due for release next Friday, June 26. Senff will be joined at the show by Slow Spell, a northern Michigan experimental rock quartet. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door.
Friday, November 13: Luke Winslow-King
A Cadillac, Michigan native, Winslow-King is a guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer known for music “that blends delta blues, roots, rock, and folk.” Songs from his eight-album discography have made it onto a variety of notable television shows, including Anderson Cooper Live, NCIS: New Orleans, and Deadliest Catch. Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door.
Tickets for all six events are available now.
